The Auditorium and Conference Centre of Burgos is located to the right of the Museum of Evolution, together with the Museum and the National Centre for Research on Human Evolution (CENIEH) make up the Human Evolution Complex. 

Also known as the Evolution Forum, it occupies an exceptional position, next to the river bank, and from it there are views of the Cathedral and the old city.

Burgos bus station is located in a very central area of the city, at Calle Miranda, 4, close to the Santa María Bridge, Burgos Cathedral and the Human Evolution Complex, which is less than a five-minute walk away. 

All metropolitan and intercity bus transport in the city is distributed from here, connecting it with the towns in the province and the main cities in Spain.

At present, Burgos airport does not offer regular flights, so it is not possible to arrive directly to the city by this means of transport. 

However, it is possible to get to nearby cities that do have regular flights: 

• Madrid - Adolfo Suárez - Madrid Barajas Airport, the busiest airport in Spain, where most of the airlines operate. It is just over two hours from the capital of Burgos by car and the ALSA company offers the possibility of taking a bus to Burgos from the airport itself. 
• Bilbao Airport - Less than two hours from Burgos is the most important airport in northern Spain. Bilbao Airport is the main base for the company Volotea and the second most important for the company Vueling, and some twenty airlines operate from its installations. City buses connect Bilbao Intermodal Station with the airport thanks to the A3247 line. The ALSA company connects Bilbao Station with the capital of Burgos.

• Santander Seve Ballesteros Airport- Almost two hours from Burgos and 5 km. from the Cantabrian capital we find the Seve Ballesteros Airport where seven airlines operate, offering both national and international flights. It has a single terminal, which makes it a very comfortable airport for users. The ALSA company also offers the possibility of taking a bus to Burgos from the airport. 

• Valladolid - Valladolid Airport is located in the town of Villanubla, 10 km from the most populated city in Castilla y León. Five airlines operate regularly from this airport, offering domestic flights. Valladolid is an hour and a half away from the capital of Burgos by car and it is also possible to take an ALSA bus to get directly to Burgos.

• Vitoria - Two companies operate from Vitoria - Gasteiz Foronda Airport, linking this aerodrome with several Spanish cities and international destinations. The airport is connected by bus with the centre of Vitoria and with the bus station thanks to the company "Autobuses La Unión". To reach the capital of Burgos, the ALSA company offers almost ten daily routes.

Burgos - Rosa de Manzano Station is located in the north of the city, on Avenida Príncipes de Asturias, near the G3 and Villimar neighbourhoods, 5 km from the historic centre. 

To get to any point in the city, you can use taxis and city buses (Lines 2, 12, 16 and 23).

Lines 2, 12, 16 and 23 stop at the main door of the station and all of them include several stops in the historic centre of the city. 

Train tickets to Burgos can be purchased on the RENFE website, but you can also buy them at the ticket offices or at the machines provided at most of the stations of origin.
