Atapuerca
The Atapuerca Archaeological Site is a group of archaeological and palaeontological sites containing some of the oldest human remains on the Iberian Peninsula.
There are currently five main sites being excavated in the Sierra, of which the Sima del Elefante, Galería and Gran Dolina, which are concentrated along the Trinchera, are accessible to the public.
