- Abstracts must be submitted online via the website only following the suggested format, you can download the template here. ABSTRACTS SUBMITTED BY EMAIL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
- Limitations
- All accepted abstracts will be published in the yearly abstract/proceedings e-publication.
- All abstracts should be submitted in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If you need help, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a colleague who is a native English speaker, by a university specific publications office (or another similar facility) or by a copy editor, prior to submission.
- Oral, OWSM presentations and posters can be presented in either Spanish or English.
- Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: Abstract submitters must disclose any conflict of interests in the submission form.
- References, figures and tables are not required in the abstract.
- We would prefer oral presentations to take place in person, however we will consider some oral presentations to be done virtually.
- Oral and OWSM presentations for the scientific programme must be submitted as recordings by the 1st October at the latest and last a maximum of 15 mn. for oral presentations and 8 mn. for OWSM sessions. Instructions for preparation of presentations and to record and submit your recording will be sent after your abstract is accepted.
- All abstracts submitted must comply with the “Guidelines for Ethical Treatment of Animals in Applied Animal Behaviour and Welfare Research” prepared by the ISAE Ethics Committee (https://www.applied-ethology.org/res/EthicalGuidelinesISAErevised2017%20for%20council%20meeting.pdf)
- All oral and OWSM presentations will be published freely, 2 months after the conference onwards, on the YouTube channel One Welfare https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLncmmzeSwdZLRO0ZI9z_tQ under the category of creative commons. If the author does not want his presentation to be published, he must expressly indicate this when submitting his presentation in the submission form.
